Major Website Update In Process
[Please note: We are in the process of transforming our website to reflect our new name of Division of Global Affairs. Meanwhile, all references to the Center for Global Change and Governance and CGCG should be read DGA.]

The Division of Global Affairs at Rutgers University-Newark (housed in the Center for Law and Justice) in 2005 succeeded the Center for Global Change and Governance, established in 1995 as a freestanding graduate-level institution independent of any school or department at Rutgers University. The Center administers Master’s and Ph.D. programs in global affairs, conducts research on the causes and consequences of globalization, and serves as the focus of the University's outreach to government, business, professional, and NGO communities with global concerns. The DGA's approach to Global Affairs is strongly multidisciplinary and professional, drawing on the research, teaching excellence, and expertise of a distinguished core faculty and associated faculty representing most of RU-N’s departments and schools, including anthropology, criminal justice, economics, history, law, management, political science, public administration, sociology, and biology.
